Ayodhya Ram Temple: Not only from the country but also from foreign countries, special guests are coming to the Ram temple of Ayodhya to have the darshan of Lord Ramlala. After Suriname and Nepal, now a delegation from Fiji under the leadership of Deputy Prime Minister Biman Prasad reached Ramlala. This Fiji delegation is visiting India from 4 to 10 February.
According to news agency ANI, the delegation representing Indian expatriates in Fiji reached the religious city of Ayodhya on Thursday (February 8). The delegation had reached Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya to witness the religious and cultural festivals. All the guests were also given a warm welcome by senior officials at Ayodhya Airport.
First foreign leader to visit after consecration
Fiji’s Deputy PM Biman Prasad is the first foreign leader who came to see Ram Lalla after the consecration ceremony of January 22. Deputy PM Prasad said that our citizens of Indian origin in Fiji, who were taken to Fiji during the British era, had taken Geeta and Ramayana with them. It became so popular in Fiji that today it has become a strong cultural identity for all of us.
He told that the people of Fiji have special faith and feelings towards Lord Shri Ram. He told that many programs related to Lord Ram are organized there and when it comes to Ram Janmabhoomi, Ayodhya, the people of Fiji get very excited. Diwali is also celebrated with full pomp in Fiji.
‘Fortunate to get the opportunity to see Lord Ram’
Biman Prasad said that it is our good fortune to get the opportunity to see Lord Ram. He stressed that the temple dedicated to Lord Ram will further strengthen the lasting relations between India and Fiji. Fijians of Indian origin originally came from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar. All of them have special attachment and love for Ayodhya. Fiji has a very old relationship with India.
